I work in both oil and acrylic. The paintings are often done for friends and family, though the common themes are planetary bodies, angels, flowers, citrus. I love when the painter’s hand is visible in the final piece, and love leaving brush marks and heavy paint texture on my paintings. The palette is often earth toned, but I have enjoyed using a CMYK palette to make neons that feel otherworldly.
